David Reuben, Principal

David Reuben is a licensed Private Investigator (California License # 8075) and the Principal of DR Associates International. Mr. Reuben began his professional career with the staff of the State's Attorney in Chicago, Illinois where he investigated many of Chicago's largest cases in organized crime, official corruption, vice, sophisticated white collar crime and fraud.

He brought this specialized investigative expertise to San Francisco, California where he coordinated and directed all investigations for the Special Prosecutions Unit in the San Francisco District Attorney's Office. In 1979 Mr. Reuben received a commendation from the U.S. Justice Department for an international investigation he coordinated with that department in the People's Temple/Guyana tragedies.

Upon leaving the District Attorney's office, Mr. Reuben was hired by the City of Oakland, California to establish and administer the Oakland Police Review Board which was one of the first of its kind in the United States. Mr. Reuben received a commendation from the City of Oakland for his efforts in bringing the Police Department and the Oakland community into a closer working relationship.

In 1983 Mr. Reuben entered private practice in San Francisco. His firm, DR Associates International, specializes in background investigations, personnel matters, litigation preparation, fraud investigations, and surveillance.

Mr. Reuben received his undergraduate degree with Honors in Government Studies from Ohio University and a Master's in Public Administration (MPA) from the Maxwell School at Syracuse University. He is a POST Certified Background Investigator, Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), holds several teaching certificates and lectures frequently before university and business groups.
